Housing Developments

The OCA projects conducted for clients working in housing development business are commonly involved in performing pre-construction surveys of state or privately owned land. This work is intended to ensure that significant cultural resources will not be destroyed during the proposed construction. OCA's work on housing development projects include numerous surveys in the Placitas, New Mexico area for High Mesa General Partnership and KGA Development as well as for the Santa Fe Canyon Ranch LLC, Maestas and Associates, Construction Analysis and Management, Inc., and Safe-Waste, Inc. These projects have resulted in the following publications:

Fence Lines

OCA has performed numerous surveys also to accommodate archeological clearance for the fence line construction projects. Such work included the fence line survey near Santa Teresa US-Mexico border crossing. The project was performed for the Bureau of Land management and concluded with the following report:

Cellular Phone Towers, Radio Telescopes, Wind Farms & Satellite Systems

OCA has performed surveys for various clients constructing cellular towers, radio telescopes and other satellite systems. Some of the clients from these past projects include Superior Renewable Energy of Houston, Texas, Koll Telecommunications, Miller Environmental, Inc. of Pryor, Oklahoma, as well as the University of New Mexico' s Physics and Astronomy Department.
